Are you in a season of feeling the pressures of being a mom, dad, sister, a friend, all while also being a business owner who is busy with so much? We completely get it and have been right where you are! With this episode, we wanted to be that voice you wanted to hear, or maybe did not want to hear, but needed to.
In today’s episode, our CEO, Cam, is sharing a special encouraging message with you all! We are excited to introduce our ‘car side chat’ and lend some inspiration, encouragement, and a be that big sis you may need to lean on during this time. We know firsthand what it is like to be in the trenches and need to get through some tough times, but with those tough times comes a brighter ending.
Did you know that a diamond has to go through a lot of pressure before actually becoming a diamond? It starts out as this ugly lump of coal, but through the pressure, a diamond becomes a beautiful object. Going through this process of pressure is what makes it beautiful and we could not help but think how this very process can be so relatable to our personal and professional lives. Through all of the hardships you may experience, you go through so many phases that can only build you up from where you were. We understand the busyness of being in an insanely booked season and the pressure can begin to build up. There can be pressure with needing to bring in the right amount of sales, hit revenue goals, and make all of the right calls. We all want to deliver the best of the best for our clients and when you are going through so much, it can certainly feel overwhelming.
Once you have gone through that, you have overcome so much and it only builds upon who you were previously. Your emotions, mindset, and who you become can truly morph into something so beautiful. On the other side of this, you become a better version of yourself with a new perspective on life and can begin to appreciate what you have gone through.
We all know that if you are or were a business owner at the start of 2020 it did not start out as planned. We plan on opening the new year with fresh goals, new beginnings, new ideas, and a plan for how we want the business year to go. Getting through 2020 truly was a hard year and place to be for all small business owners — it even felt tough going into 2021 as we were all navigating shutdowns and trying to figure out how to go full force again. We had hard situations to navigate through, and tough decisions to make business-wise, and there was unfortunately so much hurt as we had to make these decisions. Now, we are in Q4 of 2022 and we have (hopefully) gotten through all of those tough times and are seeing a better version of ourselves — as entrepreneurs and business owners. Right now, you may be going through hardship, it is messy, you have issues to resolve, and it can feel so chaotic. We want to remind you that through the stress and pressure, a new version of your company and YOU, as a leader, team member, mom, dad, or whatever your life looks like, you are going to become a better version of YOU. Remind yourself that through the hard times, you become a stronger YOU.
As an entrepreneur, the success story is where we all want to be. If you could skip the hardships and pain, would you? It is certainly not a fun part of the process but you have to remind yourself that going through that pain and experiencing that journey is what makes the impact and molds the story that will eventually become your success story. Going through all of that is what makes the success worth it! Through your DM’s and messages, we have received praise about our success in this industry, but without the bruises, the late nights and early mornings, the laughs, and the tears, we would not have our success story. It can be so easy to look at someone’s business through their online presence and not see the pain or struggles they experienced to get to where they are now. We have to remind ourselves that every business and entrepreneur has growing pains — success did not happen overnight. They really leaned into that journey and went along for the ride.
Through all of these pains, struggles, and pressures of getting it right as a business owner, your story will become an influence on those around you. You will appreciate the hardships and see how they carried you through a brighter time in your life. Sit in the tough. Relish in the hard times so you can tell your very own success story one day soon.
We are so grateful you are here and we hope that you found today’s episode encouraging and inspiring to continue pushing forward, even in the hardest of times. When it feels impossible, you are not far from seeing the other side. Next week on The Render Podcast, our Podcast Producer Raven is joining us and as always, thank you for being here. We will see you next week!
Joyfully,
