Happy New Year! To start 2022 off right, we are bringing you an episode all about designing a business you love.

Our special guest, Crystlyn Aucoin, is the owner of Crystalyn Aucion Jewlery.  The mission behind Crystalyn Aucoin Jewelry is to inspire women to overcome hardships and live a purposeful life.  Most importantly, the jewelry line allows her to continue to honor her late husband, Ryan, by donating a percentage of sales to cancer-related non-profits that are helping families who are experiencing the burden of cancer. Crystalyn was the perfect guest to have on this episode as she has truly created a business she loves and wants to teach others to do the same.

It’s easy to start a business with a passion and then lose our passion when things get tough. Use this simple framework to continually design a business that you love so you don’t end up burnt out! Grab a journal and use these categories as areas to write about your dream business.

Imagine

Whether you are already in the business or just dreaming it up, write down all your dreams and goals for your business. Ask yourself, “My business is _____” and write down whatever you want it to be. You have to have a vision and a dream for your business in order for it to go anywhere. Paint the picture and tell the story of your dream business as if it has already happened.

Gratitude

Remember what you have already to be grateful for! There’s so many small things each day that we can be grateful for, and it’s important to not take those for granted. No matter where you are at in your business (or in life) there’s always something to be grateful for.

Intention

Create some intentions behind your business. Ask yourself, “The intention of my business is _____.” This may seem simple, but getting to know your “why” is so important when building a business you love.

Action

Last but not least, you have to take those intentions and put them into action! Start planning and prepping your next steps to building your dream business. Whether you’re a solopreneur or have a team, take those dreams and intentions and start to figure out how you can make it become your real life. Want to take this a step further?
