Happy Thanksgiving, friends! Join us as we ground ourselves in gratitude this week and go through the top 7 things we are thankful for in this business.  We hope that this episode reminds you that there’s so much to be grateful for despite the hard seasons we’ve been through!

As you may already know, we have team meetings every Monday to express our gratitude for the week. It is a practice that grounds us and gets us in the right mindset for the week ahead. This week, we want to take a moment to be grateful for all the parts of this business that bring us joy.

Day 1 — Work/Life Balance

We are grateful for the work/life balance at our company. It is one of our core values to “work hard and live well,” especially around the holidays! It’s easy for work to become all consuming, especially when you love your job — but the reality is that work should not be our everything. So, we are taking this holiday to soak in time with family and are so grateful that we have the ability to do so!

Day 2 — Our Students + Clients

We are so grateful for our clients and students. We would not have a business if it weren’t for our clients who put their trust in us. If you have ever chosen to have our rentals at your event, please know how grateful we are for your support! As for our students, we are so grateful that you’ve allowed us to educate you. Whether you’re a podcast listener or a member of Rental Biz Academy, we see you as a part of our education community and could not be more thankful.

Day 3 — Partnering with Our Clients to Create Meaningful Experiences

Partnering with our clients to create meaningful experiences. Today we are thankful for the work we get to do. It’s pretty special that we are able to impact lives by helping bring visions to life. We believe in showing up for others and we’re grateful to get to do that on the regular!

Day 4 — Our Friends + Family

We would not be where we are today without the support of our friends and family. We joke a lot about how every person on this team has had a spouse work a shift or two. If not, they’ve definitely provided some kind of emotional support over the years, and for that we are so thankful. If you are a parent, spouse, friend, or family member of one of our team members, we are so grateful for your endless support!

Day 5 — Our Local Community

We are so incredibly thankful for our local vendors, rental community, + creatives. Everyone that we have worked with has made an impact on our company and our lives. If you’ve ever worked with us and you’re reading this, you’re the best. We’re grateful for you!

Day 6 — Getting To Do What We Love Again

After the last two years, we are beyond grateful to get to do what we love again. It’s pretty special that we get to be creative with our rentals + floral on a day-to-day basis, and that we get to impact people through intentional spaces. What a gift and an honor!

Day 7 — Our Team

We saved the last day of the gratitude challenge for our hardworking, creative, and passionate team. Every single team member has helped build this business through their unique and special talents. They are servant leaders, caring, and most importantly, love the community around them. So incredibly thankful for the Render team!
