Happy Halloween, friends!
Today’s show is a fun episode talking all about our favorite event themes. We talk about our favorite event themes that we’ve been a part of, ones that we’ve seen + loved, and how we get inspired.
We’ve been a part of a lot of amazing events, but these are on the top of our list for some of our favorite themes! Themes don’t have to be over-the-top to feel curated and cohesive. Small, thoughtful details are what make the “theme” stand out to guests. See below for some of our favorites!
Ralph Lauren is one of our all-time favorite events because they took one color + went with it. The pink theme was inspired their perfume, Beyond Romance. The color pink feels feminine and captures the essence of the scent perfectly. They brought in pink carpet, pink neon signs, and created an amazing event.
The Tinge Product Launch was another favorite event theme. This event was more subtle, but just as impactful! The brand prides themselves in having 12 undertone-oriented shades — the most expansive range in the body category to date. So, the client’s vision was to create a floral installation that mimicked the shades offered in their makeup.
The Bimini Beach Club Pop-Up was held at the Virgin Hotel. This event kicked off Virgin Voyages, a new cruise line, so they wanted go for a beachy, Bahamas theme. Every detail of this event was thought through and we helped them create a little piece of paradise around their rooftop pool.
Bell Flight is the last on our list, but certainly not least! This amazing event was colorful, fun, and thoughtful. Each pod was coordinated with a specific color hue using our rentals + Parie Designs‘ creative floral. It was definitely one for the books!
Disco Balls everywhere. We want to see more disco balls used in events! We love how the natural light hits them + creates perfect little spots of light. We recently saw this collaboration with Kelly Wearstler + ROTGANZEN and it has inspired the heck out of us! Plus, this amazing floral + disco art by Hannah Willis Creative.
We’ve seen a lot of “camp” themed weddings, but how fun would that be for corporate? Yurts in an open field with different activations throughout.
Ikebana is a Japanese term for “arranging flowers” and the way they are designed is very minimal and unique. I’ve seen couples incorporate this style throughout their entire wedding, and overall love this theme! Check out this wedding from Ruffled blog.
Lastly, we’ve been loving the garden party trend! We would love to see more of these. We’re specifically inspired by this beautiful one by Sophie James Wine.
