The Impact of Writing Something Down

Have you ever thought about something, thought you would be able to remember it, then you completely forget it? Yes, us too. That is why writing down your thoughts or ideas when you get them is key. Whether it be a random thought, a random idea, or that business idea that you have been dreaming about, writing down your thoughts can not be just to simply remember them, but to help cultivate them. When you put pen to paper, it helps get those ideas out in the open to help bring them to life. You never know what that impact could be when you write those ideas down.

Clarity and Focus

Having a clear mind is key in your success. By writing down your thoughts and ideas, this promotes and improves clarity in what you are working on or toward. When approaching a topic or new idea, clarity and focus are so important in getting to where you want to be. If you are like us, having a dedicated notebook to put all of your thoughts and ideas in is helpful. 

Goal Setting and Accountability

Now to the fun part. By adding all of your thoughts and ideas to paper, you are holding yourself accountable and setting a goal to accomplish that task or idea at hand. This is a great move and something to hold yourself to when working toward a new goal in mind. By having your ideas down in front of you, you are also putting them first and this shows that you are willing and wanting to do the work to make this happen.

Organizing and Prioritizing Your Business Thoughts

Even if you have an idea and you are unsure of when you want to pursue it, having your business thoughts organized in one space is nice to do for yourself. You are able to keep track of any thoughts or ideas that may or may not even want to act on. However, having your thoughts and ideas organized in one home is nice to keep track of for that future move you might want to make and is even helpful when looking for inspiration.
